Medicine Hat American Legion adds U15 AA team to the Legion program

Medicine Hat Big League is proud to announce a collaboration with the Southern Alberta Baseball Association in 2023. This season we will be adding two additional teams to our program that will be made up of ‘08 and ‘09 players. The first team will carry the Majestic name, and the second (if there are enough players) will be the Aces. These will be U15 AA teams in our program.

We are excited to bring these players into our Legion program to help introduce them to the Legion experience. The Southern Alberta Baseball Association Directors and our Legion board are confirming the schedule for these two teams to help determine the fees. Still, at this time, we see the season travel schedule starting mid-April and will run until August 2023.

A meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the Veiner Centre. 

The first portion of the meeting is for the ‘08 and ‘09 parents interested in learning more about our Majestics program.

Following the introduction to the program, we will commence our regular pre-season meeting for our Knights and Monarchs team from 7:30 - 8 p.m. 

PLEASE NOTE: Any member is invited to attend any portion of the meeting between 6:30 - 8 p.m. 

We request all interested parties be registered for tryouts by Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Tryouts are scheduled for the following dates for Majestics, Knights and Monarchs:

March 18 & 19 and 25 & 26 // Location: TBD

Our teams' first round of cuts will be announced on  March 29, 2023.
